Force all apps to close on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

The link describes how to force one app to close. I recommend forcing all apps to close.

 

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. If that doesn't work, force restart

These devices are computers and like computers, when they act up, a restart is the best first step. May sound obvious but this fixes a wide variety of problems.

FYI - When my iPhone or iPads start acting weird, I force quit all apps and then turn the iPhone or iPad off and back on.

Restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch from a backup

This is assuming you have either iCloud backup enabled on your device or that you've been plugging your device into a computer with iTunes backup turned on.
